Amusement Park Fun
It is that time of year again when our local amusement park opened for the season. We headed over yesterday, late afternoon and got our season's passes processed and then went on over to kiddie land....

The orthodontics has begun...
Well, I've had lots of computer problems lately, so got behind again. Anyway, I have a new computer, which is a laptop this time, and getting used to this keyboard has been a challenge. At least for now, my new computer is up and running just fine...
One thing that I delayed about posting is that the orthodontics work has begun with Rose (at age 7). Cha Ching.....
She first had to have a palate expander which was put in back in February (I think). Other than puking on the technician three times during the process of fitting and installing the expander, she has done amazingly well. I had to turn it with a tiny little key for about 3 or 4 weeks. Once we figured out a routine, I did very well with this challenge especially since Rose has a tiny mouth and my eye sight isn't that great anymore. She would lay down on the couch with her head tilted back and hold the flash light towards her mouth. We first gave the flash light job to Lavender, but it didn't work out. I would then take my glasses off and close my right eye and I could then see the little key hole perfectly.
The next step was braces across the front of her teeth. Here is a picture with her wearing the braces.

Chinese New Year
Well, I'm still getting caught up. We recently celebrated Chinese New Year with our local FCC group. The girls really enjoy this every year.
Doing crafts...

Lavender looking pretty in a dress that I thought was too small for her but fit perfectly...

Rose loves the shopping and picked out one of these jewelry boxes. By the way, Lavender had to have one too...

Downtown Disney
This was our second attempt which was successful to visit Downtown Disney. The first try was the night that we went to the Boardwalk. We were unable to find a parking spot that night so this time, we decided to go first thing in the morning and there was plenty of parking.
Here are some photos of our few hours there. There were no photos taken but we also ate lunch at the new T-Rex restaurant. It was pretty neat inside but very loud!

Cocoa Beach
Well, I am way behind on blogging. It is late February but this post will say it is in January since I will be backdating the post. Life is very busy and it is hard to keep up and I am also getting very annoyed with Blogger. I will upload pictures in a certain order and blogger will post them in a different order. It didn't use to do that so it is frustrating that I have to go into the codes and spend extra time cutting and pasting just to get the pictures the way that I wanted them. If anybody even reads this blog and knows why, please let me know.
Anyway, we spent a day at Cocoa Beach while in Florida at Christmas time. I believe that this was the most favorite part of the trip for the girls. They had so much fun. It was about 80 degrees that day and they did not want to leave. Rose loved playing in the water very much and they both loved playing in the sand.
